Brother Bryce

Brotherly Love
Bryce's attitude toward his little brother is just remarkable! He adores and treasures him. I'm so blessed to have a son like Bryce who is so sweet and tender to his mommy. He's been so helpful and encouraging. Although he would rather not have any more babies because he says they're lots of work. :) He said the other day, "well mom you can have two more then there will be one for each of us"I couldn't help but chuckle. He really is a wonderful child. His eyes sparkle with that Big Brother Love I was talking about. I thought I would share.

SLEEPOVER

Bryce had two wonderful boys over to spend the night.
Jackson and Kole
I hope they become good friends, they had a really good time and played well together.
Our night started out with Pizza and Root Beer
actually they wanted Apple Juice instead.
Top pick of entertainment while eating was Tangled they laughed at the little chameleon the whole time. I loved it!
Shortly after eating we hopped in the car to head to Peaks Gymnastics for some fun!

You can see the slide in the background, that and the foam pit are their favorites.

Of course a sleepover wouldn't be complete without a FORT!! So down came the blankets and pillows and a room full of toys.

This was the finished product, it looks kinda small but it's really big in there.

They started playing as soon as parents left and got along really well except for a couple of wrestling mishaps all was well. They came back from peaks and we read Marvin K Mooney while eating Apples and Milk. Brushed our teeth and they were sleeping by 10:30 no questions asked! WOW! I could do this every weekend. They were amazing boys, they woke up quietly at 7 and played in Bryce's room until breakfast at 7:30. Pancakes and eggs with chocolate milk. They played hide and seek and leggos and train set. I hope we can do it again soon. The boys all were very sweet with the baby and I got to see a glimpse into what their mama's see every day. One of the boys saw the gorgeous sunset last night and with a sweet look in his eye said, "I love it when the sun is like this" melted my heart. The other little boy was enamored with Dawson, just so sweet and gentle. It was a pleasure to get to know them better.
I hope they had a good time & want to come back soon.

Now we're off to a Birthday party for two very special boys.

1st Day Of School!

1st Day Of School
For many of us Kindergarten is a memory that's unforgettable. I'm sure it will be for Bryce too. He was so confident. The day before he was sitting in the back seat quietly, then with strength in his voice he says, "tomorrow is going to be a BIG day for me." I was so proud of him. He's faced so many transitions, each one seems to give him more confidence and strength. I couldn't have been more proud of him on that first day. Each morning after saying his I love you's and mommy saying her prayers he struts into the playground with pride, no fear and he doesn't' look back. I can't help but be thankful for all the wonderful people in his life. They lift him up and give him the backbone to be strong, and secure in himself and his environment.
Thank You to Family and Friends that love on Bryce.

Out the door and on his own

Can't leave without a few silly faces.

His backpack has space stuff on it

Mrs. Webster Kindergarten Teacher at Mountain Meadow Elementary School
Bryce's class has 22 students, two of which live on his street.

Bryce's second day of school was his 6th birthday so we brought cupcakes and balloons to celebrate, the students sang Happy Birthday and he was enjoying every minute of the attention. A little embarrassed but still enjoying it. Later we went to a BBQ at a friends house. Tons of boys from our small group, they all had ice cream to celebrate and we all had a good time. The weather was beautiful, all the boys played on the quads and motorcycles.

You almost can't see the huge grin that's on his face

These are some of Bryce's best friends in Washington, they each have two brothers. They obviously didn't know I was taking their pic. lol it was a little dark out there. They all had so much fun. Patrick the boy on the left is turning five so we get to celebrate with him on Saturday.
Jaden, Sam, Abe, Josh, Patrick, Bryce, & Owen.
Sam and Owen were at our house two nights ago, they had a good time.

Joyful Spirit

Bryce has such a joyful spirit!
He spends each day busy looking for adventure!

How will you spend YOUR day?

Today Bryce shared his bike with his neighbor friend Tanner.
Tanner is also in Bryce's class at school.
This weekend He looks forward to having two friends sleep over. They're all excited, they can't wait to go to Peaks Gymnastics an all time favorite for the boys. The last two weeks Bryce has taken classes at Peaks, they're challenging. He has a good time.
